Passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at North York General Hospital at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late William McCuaig (1983). Loving mother of John Kirby and Maxine and her husband Rick Wilde. Cherished grandmother of Josh and Jamie. Dear sister-in-law of Lloyd (2004) and Lois McCuaig (2011) and Bert and Margaret McCuaig. Adored aunt of Wayne, Ron, Carol, Sharon, Jackie, Donna and Janice. Dorothy was a Life Member of the United Church Women (UCW), founder and past president of the Welcome Club II, and longtime member of Willowdale United Church. Friends may call on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel. Spring interment Eden Cemetery, Cambray, ON.
