Thank you Cheryl for being a part of my life. I am glad that Dream Acres became a place for you guys to get away. I have cherished every moment that we got to spend together and I am so sad that there will be no more. You were always a joy to be around. Your visits were always like a vacation for us too. I have missed you so much the last couple of years, and so much more now that our time is done :( Love you always.

We knew Cheryl as a parent on Ian's hockey team in Aurora. Cheryl was always there to support the team, to provide encouragement for our boys on and off the ice.  She was a regular at our Tournaments and games and always a lot of fun.  I remember when we were out for coffee before a game and Cheryl told us about finding her beloved daughter Lee Ann, her eyes just lit up whenever she spoke about her daughter and her family. Cheryl was full of life, a very positive, warm, loving person, she will be greatly missed by the whole community.  Our thoughts are with the family. Taken, far too young, Rest in Peace Cheryl.

Cheryl,

you were like a second mom to me, you were always there for me when I needed someone to talk to, and you always gave unbiased opinions and weighed the positives with the negatives, you guided me like a mother would. You would to bring me to school when my dad was away and I wasn't licensed, make me lunch do things a mom would do. When I would come hang out with Ian or come over before or after hockey, you would cook me meals, or ask if i wanted snacks and all the little things, a l would do. You truly were the mom that wasn't there for me and I thank you so much for everything you have done for me, i wish that there was more I could have done. It hurts me so bad to see you go, there isn't a thing in this world that could fill the void that has been left in my heart forever. I thought for sure you would be gracing me with your presence at my wedding, the birth of my children, but sometime life isn't fair, but I know you will be watching from heaven and will always be with me in my heart and in my memories. I lost a part of my family that day and it will continue to hurt for years to come, but I am grateful that I had the honour of knowing you as well as I did because you were one AMAZING woman. Please watch over me and everyone you have touched so deeply and may you rest in peace.

you were my friend, my family, my second mom.

My sister Cheryl, was older than me. She always told me she loved me very much.She was proud to tell everyone I was her baby sister, and i was proud to tell all she was my closest sister. 
She was beautiful. Lovely long hair, thin, with a wonderful smile. When anyone said to me that i looked like her i felt awesome inside.
Cheryl always took me places and kept me safe.When ever i strayed she was quick to keep me in line.I remember the time I thought it would be good idea to visit a guy older than me and Mitch and Cheryl came and saved me.
We drifted for a while and at a New Years party in Jessie's place I meet my husband Glenn.He was also a friend of Cheryl's and when we decided to get married I asked Cheryl to be my "Maid of Honor". My sister always was so proud and supportive of my children Lance and Tagey.
She was my best friend,we did everything together. we loved to go to concerts, dinner and spend nights together having fun.
Her happiest day was also one of mine. That's when Lee Anne came into our lives. If you did not know, Valentines day was a sad day for Cheryl because she truly missed the one love she never had. 9 years ago we got to meet Lee Anne and everyone's heart was filled with joy for the both of them.Cheryl was so proud her story and loved to tell anyone and everyone of Lee Anne and her wonderful grandchildren Marlee and Brian who loved her and called her and called her grandma Cheryl
It hurts me so much to know I will never hear her voice, her laugh, her telling me how much she loved me,or singing Happy Birthday on the phone.
I will cry everyday, knowing she will not be there to see my grandchildren.
I have peace knowing she is my angel. One who is waiting for me to kiss and hug once more.
i love Cheryl and will miss her everyday of my life.

I came to know you about 7 years ago as your hairstylist.  Through our visits we developed a friendship because you were so easy to talk to and so open and honest. We shared things that effected each other's lives and you always offered heartfelt advice.  thank you for letting me be a part of so many moments of your life good or bad.  I remember when you first told me about searching for your daughter Lee anne, about the anticipation of your first meeting and the beautiful stories that followed. You were a person that left little room for yourself, never resting until everybody around you were taken care of. Now God decided you needed to rest and be taken care of and though he took you from those who truly loved you they will find peace because you have found peace. I wish I could have said good-bye. Rest and be happy beautiful Cheryl.

I knew Cheryl from playing hockey with Ian, she was one of the most kind hearted people i've come across. Her smile, her attitude, and her positivity was contagious. She will be truly missed and i'm sure she touched many lives with her presence.

Seems like just yesterday we were all together enjoying the boys hockey, seeing each other every week. Cheryl was a lovely person inside and out and will be sadly missed. Our condolences to the whole family.

Thank you Cheryl for the many laughs about Cliffy behind my styling chairs. You will be missed God bless. Cliff keep your head up, your trademark laugh keeps the world smiling.

It's only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth -- and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up -- that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had.

This is the Cheryl I will always remember, always a light in our lives, always making sure everyone around her was happy and needed nothing.  She could always see the silver lining in dark places.  Cheryl you were loved by many and will be missed forever.  I choose to remember you as a silver lining, always bright, always strong always there.  Thank-you for being you.       I will forever be your daughter Kelly Christina Moore. Thank you for loving me enough to give me away and then for allowing me to love you in person these last 9 years Cheryl. I hope there is a place called heaven so your heart will be healed. And soon your soul will be at rest at Greenwood cemetery where your two grandchildren Marlee and Brian can visit with me everyday. You'll only be across the street, so we'll come for picnics and bring you flowers just like you did with us so many times to visit my mom Marilyn. We'll watch from our back yard to see the sun shining on you every morning, leaves floating and the snow falling. I can't believe the two mothers in my life will be together..already..both so young, her at age 51 and now you at age 54.
