To my sweet little aunt,

I’m not ready to say goodbye. Forgive me because it took me some time to get here. Truthfully I’m still not ready but I know it’s time. Thank you for always loving me and supporting me through life. You will always be my #0.

I remember when I would go to the Barrett’s home as a high schooler, and hang out with my good friend Penny and Carolyn would be there too. We would all be in the basement and I remember thinking Carolyn was so cool , she was so laid-back and I thought it was great that she’d hang with us. . Carolyn’s sense of humour would have me laughing and her honesty was refreshing. Carolyn is gone too soon and may she rest in peace. 

I am so sorry and filled with sadness on hearing that Carolyn passed. I was totally shocked as I didn't know that she had been sick. My deepest condolences to the family. So many memories came flooding back when I heard the news. Carolyn being one of my babysitters. Her smiles when she walked by my parent's place when she saw them outside. The bond and love that she had for Penny stood out. And so many more memories. Carolyn, I can't believe that you are gone 💔. The neighbourhood will definitely not be the same without you. May you rest in peace sweet lady 💕

Holding back tears as I’m writing this goodbye to a treasured friend.  I have known Carolyn for more than 25 years and in total disbelief that she’s no longer with us.  Carolyn was a true friend, who you could always count on; a heart of gold.  She put others before herself and was always willing to lend a listening ear. 
I will miss her greatly.

We fondly remember the many times that Carolyn babysat our 3 children many years ago and did a fine job. She was very patient and kind with them. So sorry for your great loss and she will be missed by many.

My heart is so sad at the loss of Carolyn, who was not only a treasured friend, but like a sister, to me.  The memories go back almost 50 years. So much laughter, so much fun.  From our first meeting at Ponderosa, to home, holidays, Wasaga... precious times and memories that will never be forgotten...( oh, yeh, and all the PIZZA ) Her kind , quiet , heart, her amazing sense of humor, and her love for her family , her nieces and, nephews was so deep and sincere.
Her love of books, her favorite movies...there  was so much to this beautiful soul. She will never be forgotten and always loved.
My love and prayers are with all the Barrett family,( that I adopted myself into so very long ago) May the peace of God surround you , and His love carry you through this unbelievable heartache.

Very sad to hear of Carolyn’s passing. I had the privilege of working with Carolyn at Bell for many years, and will remember how caring she was about others, and how she made us laugh!  My sincere condolences to her family.   She will be missed by so many.

I'm so saddened to learn of Carolyn's passing.  I worked with her for many years at 2 Fieldway.  She was a great help and support to me and her kindness and sense of humour went miles with myself and her coworkers.  My heartfelt condolences to Carolyn's friends and family.

I was very saddened to hear that Carolyn had passed. I had just spoken with her just a few short days ago and she was so optimistic. I have had the pleasure of having Carolyn on my team as her manager at Bell Canada for over ten years and we sat beside each other for many of those years. She was a great team player and cared about giving the customers her best service. That was represented when we were both invited by one of our customers to go to their head office. They flew both of us up to Sault Ste Marie for the day to see their operation and take us out to lunch in appreciation for the service we had given them. Carolyn was so proud of her family and was always telling me the latest escapades of "Truck" and the other little ones. She was also very fond of the cottage at Wasaga Beach and would inform me of what was happening there.  She was also genuinely interested in everyone else's family and would ask about how people were doing by name. She was always quite happy and I can still hear her laugh. Carolyn was a great person and will be missed by so many.  My condolences and sympathy to the family on your loss. We are all better for having known her. Till we meet again.

Carolyn was an absolute Dear, and treasure as a colleague and friend.  Her sense of humour, kindness and support was something I will miss.  During our last conversation, she mentioned how lucky she was to have such a caring and supportive family.   She loved her family, and especially her nieces and nephews.  She would send me pics of Jax, Truck and Finlay, which would make my day start off on a beautiful note!   She has left a special imprint on our hearts, and will be missed.  May you hold these cherished memories of Carolyn close to your hearts, as I know all of us will also.

I had the pleasure of working with Carolyn at 100 Borough Dr in Scarborough.  She had a great sense of humor and was a caring soul.  My thoughts are with all her family and friends during this difficult time.   

I am very sorry for you loss. I worked with Carolyn for many years at Bell, she was a full of fun and laughter and spoke fondly of her loving family often. I hope the lovely memories you have will bring you comfort as they do for me.   

I will miss Carolyn.  We were first colleagues at Bell and soon became friends quickly over time.  We laughed often  and shared the ups & downs in our personal lives too.    We had a wonderful long distance relationship but it was dear to my heart and I always absolutely loved hearing the recent antics of 'Truck' and 'Truck's sense of fashion.  Carolyn was one of best aunts I know.
Thank you Carolyn is being a ray of sunny on our calls and  for being a partner in crime in seeking solutions to meet out customer's request.
I will miss you and I feel so blessed that you are part of my life.
