Carole Copp

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother in her 79th year on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. She was surrounded by the love of her family. Daughter of the late John and Mary Ellen (Nell) Dale. Loving and patient wife of the late Jack Copp. Mother of Lisa Brown, Tracey and her husband Steve Teuber, Cindy Copp and her husband David Smith. She was Mimi to Raymond and Ashley Brown, Dylan Smith, Brittney and Jessica Teuber. Carole was the caring sister of the late Joan McNeill (the late Michael), Barbara Bliss (Malcolm), the late Diane Kenny (Dennis), Sandra Low, the late Yvonne Wojcik (Bob), Marilyn Dale (Wolf), the late John Dale Jr., Glenna Kari (Bob), Jimmy Dale (Brenda) and Kerry Dale (Connie). Sister-in-law to the late Catherine Dempster (Bob), the late Eugene Copp, Irene Graves, the late Leona Costello (Bob), and Robert Copp (Hazel). Carole is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank the compassionate care of the emergency room staff at North York General Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 30th at 10:30 a.m. at St Edward Roman Catholic Church (75 Churchill Ave., Toronto). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
