Passed away on May 14, 2011 at Juravinski Hospital in her 61st year.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Currie, and life mate to the late Karlo Knesaurek. Loving mother of Joyce, Janet, and Julia. Devoted grandmother of Cadence, Lillian, Caledon, Lorence, Cassian, Laennan, and the late Cyrus. Survived by her mother Betty Irvine (nee Mundier) and sisters Beverly and Bernice. Predeceased by her father George Irvine. She was a habitual employee of the Canada Revenue Agency for over 35 years.
Friends may call on Sunday, May 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11 am in the chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Candian Cancer Society.
