Peacefully surrounded by his loving family, passed away on Friday November 20, 2009 at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre at the age of 90.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Orazia. Loving father of Romeo, Anna and her husband Pat Ionta, Mario and his wife Colomba. Cherished "Nonno" to Alessandro Ionta and his wife Melanie. Survived by his brothers and sister Amelio, Rocco and Columba.
Friends may call on Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009 at
St. Paschal Baylon R.C. Church (92 Steeles Avenue West). Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the ALS or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
