Tracy was a graduate of Central Davidson High School, where she was Valedictorian of her Senior Class of 1990. After graduation, Tracy attended Appalachian State University where she graduated in 1994 and earned a double major in Insurance and Finance. Tracy was a longtime employee of Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center where she worked as ER Registrar. Tracy was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Tracy is survived by her mother, Geraldine H. Cross; her brother, Thomas Hughes and wife Deanna; niece, Haley Hughes; and nephew, Grayson Hughes. Her father, William Roger Hughes, preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be held at Community Baptist Church Cemetery, 385 Ernest Snider Road, Lexington, NC 27292, on Tuesday, February 15 at 2:00 pm.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County.
