Tammy Tucker Small

Tammy Tucker Small, 57, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 25, 2018 at Wake Forrest Baptist Medical Center.

Tammy was born in Guilford County, September 1, 1961, a daughter of the late Lloyd Paul Tucker and Brenda Jarrett Combs. She worked with her companion, Darrell McHone, at McHone Trucking. Tammy was a loving mother and Nana who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling with Darrell. She was a faithful member of Wayside Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are her companion, Darrell McHone; a daughter, Jodi Small and companion Josh Baughman; a son, Shannon Small and wife Erica; a brother, Jimmy Tucker and wife Pam; step-sister, Crystal Rowe and husband Dale; a step-brother, Scottie Howard and wife Ashley; five grandchildren, Destiny Small, Jayden Byers, Skylar Baughman, Gracie Holbrook and Marissa Holbrook.

A Celebration of Tammy's life will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Thomasville Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Jimmy Garrett, Pastor Doug Byrd and Pastor CJ Shetley. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
