Sally was born December 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Walter and Bertha Floyd. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and going to the beach. Sally adored her family and loved spending time with them. She will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband George Rorex, son, Doyle Clinton Rorex; daughter-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" Rorex; brother, Douglas Floyd; and sister, Mae Elise Cecil.
Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Mitzi McDaniel (Marc); two grandchildren, Drew Rorex (Jen) and Matthew Rorex (Carrie); three great-grandchildren, Caroline, Davis and Anna Beth; brother, Henry Floyd; and sister, Betty Jo Brooks.
A visitation for Sally will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, NC, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM by Pastor David Bowman. Interment will then take place in Liberty Baptist Cemetery, Thomasville, NC.
