Roy attended and graduated from West Davidson High School. After high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served for four years.
Roy is survived by his mother, Roseann Smith Wilson; daughter, Natalie Wilson; and two sisters, Brandy Wilson and Star Barrier. His father preceded him in death.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, NC 27360, on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
