Randy Ervin Parrish

Randy was born on September 29, 1956 in Davidson County to Ervin Griff Parrish and Kathleen Smith Gordon.

He is preceded in death by his father Griff Parrish and Stepfather Richard Gordon.

Randy was of the Pentecostal Faith, worked as an upholsterer for most of his life and loved to fish. He loved his children and grandchildren and spending time with his best friend, his dog Beth.

Survived by his son, Jacob Scott Parrish; daughter, Andrea Elizabeth Parrish, both of Asheboro; mother, Kathleen “Kat” Gordon of Thomasville; sister, Michele Walker and her husband Kevin of Thomasville; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nathan of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2011at Thomasville Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2PM Tuesday January 4, 2011 in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home with Pastor Boyd Byerly officiating followed by interment in Free Pilgrim Holiness Church Cemetery.
