Jose Alejandro Zelaya, age 65, went to be with his Lord Monday, September 26, 2022.
Jose was born October 31, 1956, in El Salvador. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years in New York, and he loved what he did. Jose assisted with the September 11th aftermath. He was a member of the Statesville Seventh Adventist Church.
Surviving are his children Jose Guadalupe, Yanira, Julio, Jose Rodolfo, Karina, Carolina, Jose Amilcar, and Cinthya. His many grandchildren including Daniela, Johnathan, Ashley, Genesis, Michaela, Everett, and Abigail. Jose is survived by numerous siblings, friends, and other loved ones.
The family will receive friends at Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 6 until 9 p.m. Graveside service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
