John was such a good man.  We met in middle school and  he always had a kind word and I remember his warm smile.  He had a heart of gold, I am blessed to have been his friend. My condolences to his family.  God Bless.

John was the most kindest gentlest soul always had a smile and a kind word. I am so sad to hear this news this morning especially sad that it happened in December and I'm just finding out. John was one of the most caring and selfless people I've had the privileged to know. I'm so sorry I didn't find out about his passing till several weeks later.

John was a childhood friend of my son and I was very fond of him and lost track of him when his mother died. I was saddened about his passing. May God rest is soul.

Heard the news from a friend.   Rest in peace.   John was an entrepreneur.   Always reaching for the next break.  Hope he found it in the Carolinas.   Learned a lot from him.
