John Lewis Hazelwood

John enjoyed playing golf, grilling, and fishing. He served his country in the U.S. Army and loved watching NCIS. Most of all, he loved his family deeply.

Left to cherish his memory are sons, Pete Hazelwood, Bryan Hazelwood (Cassandra), Johnny Ray Hazelwood; daughters, Vanessa Bragg (Ray), April Hargett (Scott); brother, Terry Hazelwood (Darlene); grandchildren, Jeffrey Hazelwood (Alishia), Wyatt Bragg, Ian Bragg, Bryson Hazelwood, Jackson Hazelwood, Caleb Hargett, Jacob Hargett, Kenny Hazelwood; and great-grandchild, Kollin Hazelwood.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Cassie Eury Hazelwood, two brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 28, 2023, at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM at Sechrest-Davis Funerals & Cremations, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, NC.
