Joann H. Dalton

Joann Hedrick Dalton, 89, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Pine Ridge Health & Rehab following several years of declining health.

Joann was born in Randolph County, March 2, 1935, a daughter of the late Burnice and Lois Crotts Hedrick.

She retired from Fairgrove Elementary School after 22 years of service. Joann was a faithful member of Thomasville Friends Meeting as long as her health permitted. She was a loving Mother, who enjoyed taking care of her home and visiting her family and friends. Joann was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles Neal Dalton; two brothers, Roger and Larry Hedrick and a grandson, Kenny Swaim.

Surviving are a daughter, Laura Swaim; a son, Randy Charles Dalton and his wife Ann; a brother, Bill Hedrick; and two grandchildren, Susan Swaim and Landon Swaim.

A graveside service will be held Monday, November 11, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery by Pastor Eric Morrison.
