Donald Gray Plowman, age 67, of Thomasville, NC, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at his home. He was born February 6, 1956, a son of the late Ernest Gray Plowman and Nancy Ingram Collins.

Donald was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Linnie Plowman; sons, Jason Johnson (Wendy) and Donnie Plowman; grandchildren, Megan Johnson and Tayna Plowman; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Regina Terry and Linda Morton (Darrell). In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Plowman and sister, Teresa Gardner.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Wayside Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church, 3035 Upper Lake Rd, Thomasville, NC. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11-11:45am prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
