Mrs. Debbie Ann Black Coleman, 59, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice Home.
Debbie was born in Davidson County, June 11, 1955, a daughter of the late Erman Eugene Black and Fallie Hooks Black. She was a homemaker and a very active member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Deatherage . Debbie loved animals, enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Robert C. “Yogi” Coleman; a sister, Teresa Nance and her husband Billy; a nephew, Ricky Nance and her beloved dog, Brownie.
A Celebration of Debbie’s life will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church by Rev. Mary Miller. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Thomasville Funeral Home Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. Memorials may be directed to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2354 Finch Farm Rd., Trinity, NC 27370.
