Brian was born on July 5, 1958 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, a son to the late Elias Clark and Eve Castle Ice. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and enjoyed scuba diving. For many years, he managed a scuba diving shop in Thomasville and later managed a shop in Salisbury. Brian enjoyed NASCAR racing, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr. In his spare time, he built die-cast models of cars and ships, took flying lessons, and went fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Alford Ice of the home; son, Elias Clark Ice III; stepson, Charles Houston Harp II; sister, Debbie Fassel and husband Charlie; and step-grandson, Brannon Harp.
A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 1 pm Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Holly Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum, 401 West Holly Hill Road, Thomasville, with Rev. Dr. E. Keith Carroll officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
