He was born in Panola County, Texas on February 8, 1938 and graduated from Beckville.
Tommy was married to Raye Woods on November 1, 1977. He had a career in the Oil Industry for Cameron Iron Works for 30+ years and had a passion for hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Woods; mother, Nannie Pearle Woods; and son, Greg LeBlanc. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Raye Woods; six children, Susan Zaiser, Debbie Holcomb, Sherry Woods, Jeff LeBlanc, Leisa Woods, and Tommy Woods Jr.; nine grandsons; four granddaughters; and several great and great great grandchildren; siblings, Wayne Woods of Livingston, Texas, and Dana Clay Woods of Tatum, Texas.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019 in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands. Guests are invited to join the family for a reception following the service in Forest Park’s event room.
