She was born in Hood River, OR on April 9, 1940. Vera Jean graduated from Roosevelt High School.
She discovered her passion for art at a young age, and earned multiple awards over the years. Throughout her career, Vera Jean honed her craft pushing the boundaries of encaustic painting with her innovative techniques and artistic vision.
She was a member of Encaustic Network Unlimited, and was also a talented oil painter.
She was preceded in death by Son; Vincent Caillouette.
She was survived by Sons; Tony Caillouette and Joseph Lavery. Brother; Wesley Allen and Sister; Cathy Harvey.
A celebration of life for Vera will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. Followed immediately by a catered reception from 3:00PM to 5:00PM.
