Tina was born May 2, 1965 in Vietnam. She was a loving wife, a caring daughter, sister, aunt, step-mom "Tootsie," and a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Houston Baptist University, Tina received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School in 1991.
Tina's main passion over the last thirty years was working with her colleagues in her private dental practice taking care of her young patients. In her leisure time, Tina enjoyed traveling with her late husband, creating feasts for friends and family with her gourmet cooking and baking skills, and playing with her beloved dog Cosmo. Tina also loved professional ballroom dancing.
After joining Fred Astaire Dance Studio in 2012, Tina excelled and won numerous dancing competitions. She was the undefeated Latin and rhythm champion in Texas and a World Finalist in England, making history by dancing American Style Ballroom at the renowned Blackpool Dance Festival. Tina was always there to help the new students by listening and encouraging them with her enthusiasm.
Tina was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Ronald J. Redden and her father Dr. Hoanh Bui.
She is survived by her mother Yen Dang Bui of Stafford, TX; sister Nam Bui and husband Pat McFall of Spring, TX; brother Tinh Bui and wife Van Bui and family of Weston, MA; brother Tam Bui and wife Huy-Suong Bui of Missouri City, TX; brother My Bui and wife MyHong NguyenPhu and family of Austin, TX; sister Dr. Tra Bui and husband Long Phan and family of Fairfax, VA , along many other relatives and friends.
