He was born in Monterey, VA on July 21, 1933. Tom attended Fenn College in Cleveland, OH. He was married to CJ Hiner on February 19, 1954.
Tom worked in the oil industry as the founder of T.L. Hiner Co. and Triple H Plastic, Inc. He enjoyed family, golf, audubon, traveling, his place of employment, and his employees.
He is preceded in death by 9 siblings.
Tom is survived by his wife, CJ Hiner; his children, Scott Hiner of Houston, TX and Rhonda Miller of Florida; grandson, Dan Baker of Houston, TX; and his great grandchildren, Adam, Grant and Reid Baker.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a funeral service following at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Forest Park The Woodlands 18000 I-45 S, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
