Thomas Ray Ault, age 75, passed away on April 27, 2011. He was born on July 7, 1935, to Daniel and Launa Ault in Jacksonville, Texas. Tommy graduated from SHSU in 1963 and began his career as an accountant for Brown Oil Tool. He retired in 1996 from BJ Services.
Tommy was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He lived a life of integrity, and he was the quintessential family man that led by example and took pleasure in nurturing those he loved
Tommy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Norma Ault; his loving son, Danny, and wife Liz, and a precious granddaughter, Danielle. He is also survived by a twin sister, Rita Lytle, and a large extended family and many beloved friends.
Tommy left a legacy of love and laughter. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. His passion for life, his extreme joy in helping others, and his ability to do almost anything touched many lives.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Forest Park Funeral Home at 18000 I-45 S, The Woodlands, TX. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held in the Robb Chapel at The Woodlands United Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive on Monday, May 2, at 10:00 am.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Rami S. El-Wali and the nurses at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Woodlands for their diligence and care for our beloved Tommy.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts to the American Cancer Society for pancreatic cancer research.
