Sandra DeLoach Hopkins

Sandy was raised in the Pensacola area and completed her registered nurse’s training at Touro Infirmary School of Nursing in New Orleans, LA in 1963. While working as an Inflight RN flight attendant for United Airlines, she met and married William H Hopkins of Houston, TX in 1966. Bill and Sandy started their 57 year married life together in Honolulu, HI and subsequently returned to Houston to start and raise their family. Sandy continued her 34 year nursing career during family relocations to New Orleans, Dallas and The Woodlands, TX. Sandy enjoyed the beach, sailing, river cruises and gardening.

Sandra is preceded in death by her mother and father, Vivian and Sam DeLoach of Pensacola FL and her step father Cliff Solomonson of Orlando FL, and is survived by her husband Bill, son Kirby Hopkins and his family, Jennifer, William and Lincoln; daughter Kimsey Hopkins Perez and her family, Hunter, Guy and Samantha.

A memorial service for Sandra will be held at The Woodlands Methodist Church (2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380) in Robb Chapel, on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 1:00pm. A reception will be held at The Woodlands Methodist Church Library following the service. Inurnment will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery (18000 I45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384) on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 3:00pm.
