Rose M Calpin-Dewey

Rosie was born on February 7, 1965 to Martin and Molly Calpin (née Villano) in Staten Island NY. She resided in Staten Island until her family moved to the Woodlands approximately 18 years ago.

Rosie had an extremely successful career and currently worked for Alliant Insurance Services as an Insurance Producer. She was always willing to take on additional responsibilities and was well respected by her colleagues and clients throughout her career.

Rosie’s first loves were her sons, James Martin Dewey, 21 a US Marine and Martin James Dewey, 19 a student. Her favorite memories were the trips she took with her boys and her extended family, the Germano’s.

Rosie loved tracing her family roots and was fiercely proud of her Australian heritage. She adored her family there. She could not wait to take her boys to meet the family and their time together were filled with love, food, and laughter!

In addition to her sons, Rosie is survived by her nephew, Ken Calpin, her cousins Margaret, Mark (Kelly), Wayne (Paula), John and Donna Ninyette and their respective families, her sister Jenn Cieri (Harry) and many nieces and nephews. Rosie is also survived by her sistas from another mista - Lisa Germano, and Joyce Burns.

Rosie was fiercely loyal and you would be fortunate to call her your family, or friend. She was private, but wound up being the center of attention and was the life of the party. How do you measure the spirit of someone who helped so many, the loss is deep, she will forever be in our hearts.

A memorial service and reception is scheduled for Monday, June 14, 2021 starting at 1:00 pm at Forest Park – The Woodlands Funeral Home 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rosie’s life.
