In his adult life, Robert worked in sales at Baker Hughes for 26 years before pursuing his passion for leadership and mentoring as the owner of The Growth Coach of Spring and The Woodlands. Above all, Robert was a family man who expressed his love like a true cajun; in the kitchen. He used his cooking as a beacon that gathered his children around the table, even through adulthood, and his perfected recipes became the pillar for Sunday evening family dinners. Robert found joy in gardening, walking his beloved dogs and of course, his Louisiana football. During football season he could be heard throughout the neighborhood chanting either “GEAUX TIGERS” or “WHO DAT”, and he found a way to support his teams under any circumstance.
In addition to coaching his own children throughout their lives, Robert continued coaching through community outreach programs and dedicated countless Saturday mornings to teaching children’s golf.
Robert’s role as a family man was not limited to his own children, as he treated everyone he encountered as part of his family. He completed his volunteer positions with the utmost sincerity and dedicated extra time to programs like Meals on Wheels, where he always made sure to allot extra time to build relationships with those he encountered. Robert’s love is evident in the communities he built. His legacy lives through his wonderful wife and four beautiful children. He is the humor they carry, the love in their communal family, and the inevitable wave in the purple and gold flag every Saturday.
Preceded in death by his children, Robert Michael Osborne and Katie Elizabeth Osborne, his mother, Sharon Shepard, his father, Robert Charles Osborne, his sisters Sheryl Denise Osborne and Michelle Perron.
He is survived by his wife Terri Lynn Osborne, his daughters Olivia, Victoria, and Alaina, his son, Alex.
