Robert “Bob” L. Edwards, 65, of Conroe, Texas passed away January 18, 2012. He was born July 17, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Edwin Eugene and Joyce Evelyn Edwards. Bob is survived by his loving family, wife of 31 years, Mary C. Edwards; children Heather Dittmer (Tim), Shannon Morin (Dwayne), Casey Guillory, Jaimee Saville, Robert “Bo” Edwards and Carley Price (Dustin); grandchildren Robyn, Meg, Daniel, Ben, Ali, Paige, Ethan, August, Denver, Micah, Jacob, Isaac, Ellianah, Kyler and Carter; sisters Sandy Spencer (Vic) and Edwina Young (Jim).
Bob graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Nebraska and was awarded a wrestling scholarship to Wesleyan University in Nebraska. He took pride in his work in the directional drilling industry and currently in the surface restoration industry. Bob had great faith in the Hebrew way of life and was a member of Congregation Beth Messiah. He loved his family and will be greatly missed by all.
Graveside services are set for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery with Rabbi Ron Aaronson officiating.
