Looking back with gratitude, I was born and raised in Canton, Illinois by Mae and Shelby Wright. I was blessed with an older sister, (Pat Beckner), and a brother that became a mentor and best friend, Don Wright of Farmington, Illinois.
Let this notification of death be received with joy and love. During my time on Earth, I have been a teacher, coach, college recruiter, salesman, owner of Ye Olde Printery in Alief, Texas and Wright’s Media in The Woodlands, Texas. All of these challenges have been rewarding and memorable.
I am grateful for the joy and love I have received from my wife Jean, for without her love and care, my life would have been non-existent. Thank God for my loving children, Terry, Laura and Richard and all my grandchildren Shelby, Wesley, Aubree, Olivia, Katherine, Jackson, Nicholas, Kayce, Megan and Michael. The love and support of my family has made my life worth living.
I will always remember my hunting buddies who brought me great joy, laughs, happiness and love.
God sends us many challenges in life and hopefully I have earned his blessing.
Special thanks to Dr. Gene Forrester and DaVita dialysis for their special care over the last several years.
A celebration of his life will be held at Forest Park, The Woodlands, on Thursday March 24th, 2011 at 2pm.
