Rebecca Louise Smith

Rebecca Louise (Brewer) Smith: Born Sunday, March 25, 1934 in Nacogdoches County, Texas passed away in her Arizona home on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Rebecca was born to the late Truitt and Bertha Brewer of Nacogdoches, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Milford Smith, sister Jeanine McEwin and brothers Monroe Brewer and Frank Brewer. Her surviving children Richard Scott, Karen Miller and Sandy Robinson will miss her very much. Rebecca graduated from Nacogdoches High School and then business school. She married Milford R. Smith in 1983 and spent many years in The Woodlands where she worked for Ellwood Texas Forge, retiring in 1999, then cared for toddlers at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. She remained a member of the Spring First Church until moving to Arizona in 2014. Mema was full of energy as a member of The Woodlands Stars Square Dance Club and spent time keeping up with her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
