Becky was born on January 28, 1947 in Woodville, Texas to C.J. Ogden and Bernice Belt Ogden. Becky attended schools at Colmesneil, Texas. She also attended Sam Houston University and Stephen F. Austin University. She taught at Colmesneil Elementary for many years. Becky moved to The Woodlands, Texas and taught school in Aldine School System for several years before retiring.
Becky loved children and made a difference in many students life. Becky was a member of 1st Baptist Church in The Woodlands, Texas. She enjoyed traveling and seeing the world.
Becky is survived by her children: daughter Carrie Po and her husband Leap, son Jeff Rushing and his wife Didi; her grandchildren: Mia Po, Ian Po, Kyra Rushing and Tasia Rushing of Houston; her brother Michael Ogden and his wife Gloria of The Woodlands; nephews, nieces, great nieces, and many cousins.
Celebration of Life for Rebecca Rushing will be held at First Baptist Church (11801 Grogans Mill Road, The Woodlands, Texas 77380) on July 6, 2024 at 11am.
