Phyllis Ann Roberts Williams Austin died quietly on Feb 26, 2012. She was born June 11, 1930, in Riverview, Ala. She was very active in the Lioness Club in Onalaska, TX, and served as president for several years. She loved helping others. She mourned the loss of her loving husband Albert James Austin in 2008, with whom she had traveled the world.
She is survived by one sister, Bobbie Underwood of Valley, AL.; children include Greg and Shannon Williams of Montgomery TX; William and Kay Butterworth of Hot Springs AR; Joey and Jackie Williams of Gastonia, NC; Kirk and Diana Hensley of Nacogdoches, TX; and Michael and Lori Austin of Willis, TX.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Her life will be celebrated by the family at a private graveside service at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery, Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Hospital.
