So sad to recently hear about Mike's passing.  I worked with Mike at a client site over 20 years ago and our paths crossed off and on over the course of all these years.  He was always glad to hear from you, always pleasant and upbeat, always brilliant and helpful.  A little light has gone out of the world today, knowing he's not in it.  My heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.

I am deeply saddened to have come across this page. I have known Mike for nearly 20 years through the course of our combined work interests. Although he and I have never met face to face, I spent countless hours on the phone with him through his tireless efforts to provide services from his employ. He was always upbeat and a conversation with him was a joy indeed. My condolences to those who knew him well and to his family. He will be missed.

Mike was such a sweetheart.  So happy to have shared many years working with him.  Not only was he brilliant but always bent over backwards to be helpful.  We will miss him so very much.  Rest In Peace, sweet Mike E.

It was a pleasure to work with Mike, he helped us out a lot.  We had good laughs together also.  I will truly miss him.  I am very saddened with this news.  May he rest in peace.

We will all miss Mike at Maslon LLP.  He always approached his work with such professionalism and expertise at the same time keeping everything light hearted and fun. He was joy to work with.  Thank you for sharing Mike with us!

Mike was an amazing force in the work place. I worked with Mike many years as Mayer Brown LLP was one of his clients. As describe in his obituary, he was witty, fun and a master of his craft. Working with Mike, I was inspired to be my best.

Mike and I met as our sons baseball. We bonded instantly the first day we talked. We spent many days at the end of the dugout fence watching, laughing, and enjoying ourselves. When those days were gone we talked about football, wrestling, and so many other things. I will miss my friend everyday. 

Michael had the most contagious giggle/laugh. When he was a little boy, our son Jim and Michael would always have fun and come up up with mischief. Michael said if I am with Jimmie, we are getting a spanking for something…. Like throwing rocks at cars or lighting matches just to see what happens, etc.

As children, when we would get together at family gatherings we would all play games and do as kids do growing up. My biggest memories are when my mom would get a hold of him and would tickle him silly, and he would laugh so hard. My mom loved his laugh. He had such a genuine laugh. He would would call himself as a youth "Uncle Buck." And would go around arching his back and say "I'm Uncle Buck." He was such a cute kid. As we got older time and space kept us from gathering much, but when I would see him, he still to me was a kind soul. Soft spoken and loved his family greatly. I will miss  "Uncle Buck". I still hear his childlike laughter when I remember those days as a child growing up. 
I pray the Lord comforts Sara and his children as they go through their loss. May you seek the face of Jesus and stay in His Devine grace until His return. Love you all.

Michael was such a sweet soul. One of the good guys. He was a good friend to me at a time in my life when I really needed a friend. My heart goes out to his wonderful wife, Sarah, his children, his mom and dad, sisters, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles, and everyone who loved him.
