Mike was born on June 29, 1971, in Hearne, Texas to parents Ray and Patsy Easterling. He spent the first decade of his life out in the country running the fields, climbing up trees, and playing in the mud which made him a country boy at heart even after living most of his adult years in the city.
Graduating from Texas A&M in 1993 with a degree in Accounting, Mike was a proud Aggie, always looking for opportunities to brag about his Alma Mater to anyone who asked and even those who didn’t. Even though he was highly dedicated to his career, working countless hours each day, he always maintained his witty sense of humor and prioritized his family above all else. He loved the mountains and hiking and was always planning his next outdoor adventure.
Mike was compassionate and a natural problem solver which led him to be the person that not only his family turned to when they needed support and guidance, but also his friends and colleagues. If anyone needed anything, he was always there to listen and give them whatever they needed. He was a dreamer at heart always coming up with big ideas he wanted to bring to fruition to make the world a better place for his family.
Mike is survived by his parents, wife Sarah, his three children, Megan, Hannah, and Zachary, his two sisters Tammy Benson and Angela Treviño and their husbands Todd and Michael, five nieces, four nephews, two great-nieces, one great-nephew, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
