Mattie Augusta Kelly Noble

Mattie Augusta Kelly Noble was born on February 27, 1939 in Houston, Texas and went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 6, 2013, at the age of 74. She has gone to join her mother Katherine "Carrie" Kelly, her father Herbert Cline Kelly, her brothers, Martin Kelly, Joseph Kelly, and Herbert "H.C." Kelly, Jr., and her nephew Martin Wayne Kelly. Mattie was proud of her 20-plus-year career with the Harris County Appraisal District and the many friends she made there. She was a lifelong devout Catholic, a long-time parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church, where she attended school for 9 years, and later graduated from Incarnate Word Academy. She also loved her many years in the church choir. In her retirement she loved shopping, playing bridge and other games, and enjoyed several vacations with her family. Her most cherished times were those spent with family, friends and those she loved. Mattie was the rock of her family and is tremendously missed. She is survived by those who love and miss her, her sisters Evelyn Jackson and Lena Kelly; sister-in-law, Virginia Kelly Brown; her daughters, Regina Noble and Sondra Noble Bell; her son-in-law, James E. Bell; her sons Joseph Noble, Mark Noble, and Shawn Noble; her daughter-in-law, Angela Noble; her grandchildren James R. Bell and Krystal Bell; her nieces and nephews, Mary Kelly Coleman, Diana Kelly Jones, Michael Jackson, and Devin Jackson; and her many great-nieces/nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 12, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I 45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:30 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 19222 Tomball Parkway Houston, TX 77070. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston TX 77060.
