Maria met the love of her life Alfred L. Gonzales Jr. when they were just a couple of kids visiting each other’s family. Growing closer throughout the years; they decided to engage in the next chapter of their lives when the two became one. They were blessed with over 50 wonderful years of marriage and never left each other’s side. Together they devoted their lives to raising their children, and instilling the values of faith and unconditional love.
Maria lived life to the fullest with simple pleasures. She was a homemaker, and spent every second of her life putting others before herself. She was a devout Christian and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior over 27 years ago. Her love was unquestioning, understanding and never-ending. She provided a warm and loving home for all with open arms, and always ensured that everyone left feeling like they were a part of the family. She enjoyed going on trips, countless get-togethers, contagiously laughing with family and friends and cheering on her Astros. To know Maria was to truly be blessed with sincere and genuine, unconditional love.
She will be deeply missed, but we take comfort in knowing she is in Heaven celebrating and rejoicing in the presence of God. Maria is survived by her husband Alfred L. Gonzales Jr., 7 children: (daughter) Adelaida “Lala” - husband, Alex Carranza, (son) Alfred “Champ” - wife, Sicili Gonzales, (son) Gilbert - wife, Vanessa Gonzales, (son) Vincent - wife, Sandra Gonzales, (son) Philip Gonzales, (daughter) Trisha - husband, Joardyn Davila, and (daughter) Cindy - husband, Little Joe Alonzo. She has numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all of whom she lived her life for.
She will live in our hearts forever until the day we are reunited again. We all love you Mom!
