Larry passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024 at the age of 84. The first of 6 children, LJ was born in the Bronx, New York on September 20, 1939. After serving 2 years in the Army he joined his family in Houston. He is preceded in death by his wife Judy, his brother Denny, and his parents. He is survived by his daughters, grandchildren, siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
Lawrence enjoyed a rewarding career with HPD. Outside of his professional life, Lawrence found fulfillment in his role as husband and father. A man of simple pleasures. He found joy in going for walks, relishing the beauty of nature, and immersing himself in the pages of a good book. His wit and candor touched those around him and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate Lawrence's life will be held on Monday, January 22, at 1 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home followed by a catered reception.
