Larry passed away Friday, October 1st at his mother's home in Oak Ridge North.
After graduating from Baylor University, Larry entered Naval Officers Candidate School. He served three years
as an air intelligence officer, twice deployed to the Tonkin Gulf of Viet Nam. After military service, he attended
and graduated from University of Texas Law School. Larry practiced law for thirty years in Houston.
He is predeceased by his father, Rev. J. T. Evans. He is survived by his mother Doris Evans, sister Sandy Saint,
both of Spring, nephews Robb Reech of Baton Rouge, La. and Steven Saint of San Ramon, Ca., step-daughters Lisa and
Aly Winningham of Austin, stepson Ben Irick of Charlottesville, Va., brother-in-law Steve Saint of Dublin, Ca., aunts Joyce Ansley of Wichita Falls and Frances Riggs of Troupe, and cousins Verne, Linda, Carol Sue, Teresa, Jeannette, and Shelli, all of whom he loved deeply.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park Funeral Home, 18000 I45, The Woodlands.
