Kathy passed away unexpectedly while enjoying one of her favorite passions, beautifying the landscape around her home. She committed her entire heart and soul into everything and everyone throughout her life. Kathy lived her life with a foundation built from the teachings of Jesus, communion with others, hard work, and caring for those around her. She enjoyed growing in her faith, loving and guiding her family and friends, traveling to witness God's beauty around the world, and tirelessly offering her time, talents, and gifts to others. She will continue to be a role model for the many lives she has touched. Kathy will be deeply missed but will remain in all of our hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Johnny Louis Berger and Dorothy Elizabeth Berger. Kathy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kaitlyn Gwyn Hill and Justin Reid Hill; her son, Trenton Gordon Hartley; and her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon Lynn Weatherly and Joseph Robert Weatherly.
A visitation for Kathy will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home & Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384 with Rosary starting at 6:00pm. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 8715 Kuykendahl Rd, Spring, TX 77382. A committal service will occur Friday, September 15, 2023 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A reception will occur Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM immediately afterward.
