Joseph "Joey" Randall Horton

Joseph Randall Horton, 31, of Houston, Texas left us to be with our Lord on Friday, May 8, 2015. Joey, as he was known to his family and friends, was born June 22, 1983 and was raised in Willis, Texas where he graduated from Willis High School in 2001. After graduation, Joey pursued a career in aviation and graduated from Westwood Aviation Institute in June of 2004 with a degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Joey’s first job was with Continental Express and other renowned aviation corporations. Joey then pursued a career in communications where he worked high atop cellular communication towers and not only enjoyed his work, but the sights and wonders of the world.

Born, into a large family, Joey had a playful and active childhood with his brother and cousins. There was never a dull moment when Joey was involved! When he was young, fishing was his top priority where Joey reeled in some big ones. He also enjoyed riding horses, playing Little League baseball, and golfing. Joey had a fun time riding his prize Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He worked hard and played hard! Joey’s most prized achievement was when his daughter Kenzie was born as he was a very loving, devoted, and dedicated father to her. Joey will be loved and will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Joey is survived by his mother Lori and husband Michael, father Randy and wife Paula, loving daughter Kenzie, step son Andrew, and their mother Misty, sisters Tiffany, Katelyn, and Kristen, brothers Jonathan and Chandler, grandparents Myron and Marguerite, Charles and Laynell as well as other numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Joey was preceded in death by uncles Jimmy and Danny.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2:00pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home Chapel, 18000 I-45 North Frontage Rd, The Woodlands, Texas 77384 with interment to follow at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a college trust fund that has been set up for his daughter Kenzie at Bank of America Account #488055310859.
