John Andrew Mihalov Jr.

John proudly served his nation and was honorably discharged from United States Navy. He loved to garden and was very proud of his yard.

He preceded in death by his loving wife, Faith, sisters Ann Kozak and Agnes Vetroczky, and brother Edward Mihalov.

John is survived by sons, John A. Mihalov III, Edward A. Mihalov (Lesa), Anthony J. Mihalov, Michael A. Mihalov (Misty), sisters Helen Markovich and Mary “Cookie” Tolin and Brother Joseph B. Mihalov (Grace). John is also survived by his grandchildren, John A. Mihalov IV, Casey Mihalov-Gonzales (Jacob), Joseph E. Mihalov, Jennifer Mihalov, Matthew Mihalov, Leiloni Castro, Anthony J. Mihalov, Mary Faith Mihalov, Jessica Mihalov, great-grandchild, Dresden. Mr. Mihalov also leaves behind his beloved dog, Shadow. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Magnolia Room of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Dr. The Woodlands, TX. Interment will immediately follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060.
