John grew up in the Klein area, and graduated from Klein Forest high school. He worked in the Klein School District for many years before transferring to Cinco Ranch High School, where he enjoyed working with students in FFA competitions and livestock shows.
When he wasn’t working, John enjoyed listening to music, spending time outside and reading. He loved a good plate of Mexican food, and going to New Braunfels with his family every summer.
John is preceded in death his father, Larry Ford, his mother, Gerry Ford, and his sister, Trisha Mingus.
He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Kim Ford; daughters, Haley and Emily Ford; step daughter, Kayleigh Kmiecik; step son, Kyler Kmiecik; sister, Becky Diehl and husband Alfred; father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Sandra Luman, many close family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, an uncle, and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held December 17, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. at Christ Church United Methodist Church, 6363 Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands, Texas, 77381.
