He was born in Poteet, Texas, on August 9, 1942, to the late Carly Bryon & Velma Jane Pilgrim of Freer, Tx., and survived by two siblings; Carly Pilgrim of Pleasanton, Tx.; and Virginia Goff.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Caron Carr Pilgrim of Syracuse, IN; daughter, Debara Lynn Pilgrim of Wimberly, Tx., and grandson, Jerod Edwin Wleczyk of Wimberly, Tx.
Jim was a beloved member of the community and loved by many. He could frequently be found hunting arrowheads as a hobby. He worked many years in the oil & gas industry with various companies, such as Texaco and Anadarko. His latest position from which he retired was as an inspector for Pinnacle.
Jim is survived by three children; Cheryl Radvansky, her husband Gary Radvansky of San Antonio, Tx.; Neil Preston Pilgrim of Houston, Tx.; and Emily Kathleen Pilgrim of Montgomery, Tx. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Randi Radvansky, Christine Tharp, Samantha Radvansky, Allie Radvansky, Shayne Ybarra, and Sebastian Ybarra; and three great grandchildren; Kyla Tharp, Taylor Tharp, and Amani Stradwick.
There will be a grave site funeral service at 10am, on Saturday, August 2nd, held at Forest Park Dignity cemetery, The Woodlands, Tx., with a reception immediately following at Forest Park Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Tx, 77384.
