James “Jim” Harrison, beloved husband of Ginger Rundlof, died Sunday, February 27, 2011, in The Woodlands, Texas, after a brief, courageous battle against lung and bone cancer. Jim was 68 years old, born December 5, 1942. He was preceded in death by his father W.C. Jack Harrison, and mother Bonnie Harrison. Jim spent his 32 year career in the foodservice industry, the last 16 years with Keebler Company/Windsor Frozen Foods, managing the Foodservice Division the last 11 years before retiring in 2003.
In addition to his beautiful wife Ginger, and her four children Christer, Dana and her husband Santosh, John and his wife Karen, and Katrine and her husband Jake and their three children, he is survived by two beautiful daughters, Jennifer Tufford and her husband Terry Tufford of Plano, Texas, and Jan Furlow and her husband Chris Furlow of Bluemont, Virginia. Jim enjoyed his six beautiful grandchildren Danielle Tufford, Samantha Tufford, Harrison Furlow, Adeline Furlow, Cooper Furlow and Beatrice Furlow. Jim held very dear his relationships with his step-father Warren Sharp of Mulberry, Florida and his nephew Matthew Harrison of Allen, Texas. He is also survived by his two beloved step-sons Charles Stone of Chicago, Illinois and Scott Stone of Greensboro, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Chapel of Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home.
