Jean Mei Burns went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2020 at 6:54 pm. This was totally unexpected. She was born in Kunming, China, September 11, 2006. Christ Jesus allowed us to know her for ten wonderful years. At age six, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. We stand firm on the promise of salvation by the blood of Jesus. The fact that we know “absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” applies to every person that puts their trust in Him. God is merciful to the end. Praise the Lord! And you too, can have the same assurance by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Jean is survived by her parents, Robert and Johanne Burns; her sisters, Lin, Leah, Sarah and Zippy Burns; her brother, James Burns, her aunt and uncle, Kathie and Terry Thomas, and many other loving family members and friends.
Jeannie’s favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and never to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
A private burial will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery.
