Jason Karl Elliott, age 45, of The Woodlands, TX passed away, as a result of a brain aneurysm on May 17, 2020. Jason was born in Montgomery, Alabama, graduated from McCullough High School, studied health sciences at Stephen F. Austin State University (Kappa Alpha Order), and went on to work in the oil and gas industry with Liberty Pipeline. But a life like Jason’s can’t be understood by facts because it’s the ordinary, everyday details that add meaning to life, his and ours.
Jason was a private person, but very dedicated to those he loved, including his two dogs. You’ve never seen a man love two dogs more than Jason loved Bo and Lucy. He found pride in doing simple tasks, well evidenced in his commitment to projects out in the yard. Every Christmas and Halloween he decorated with an energy that was larger than life, an energy he carried with him everywhere. He was always willing to take time out of his day to help someone with a project, no matter how big or small. He was an avid all around sports enthusiast, but always held a special love for his childhood sport, soccer. These choices add up to a son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend that was relatable, fun, generous, and affectionate. Jason’s humor, smile, charm, quick wit and big heart will be missed by all. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have known Jason will keep his memory alive by remembering these snapshots of the man he was.
Jason is survived by his mother, René Elliott-Jacobs and her husband Steve Jacobs. Jason is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Mark and Sabrina Elliott and their children Kennedy, Reagan, Davis, Hayes, Tyler, and Taylor Elliott, as well as his half-brother, Bryan A. Elliott and his wife and children Tania, Orion, and Elias Elliott. Others who survive Jason include: Patricia Sanvik (grandmother), Debbie and Lynn Moreland (aunt and uncle), Suzan Jordan (aunt), Theresa and Bryan Elliott (aunt and uncle), Rachel Elliott (cousin), Shannon Patrick (cousin) and her children Cole and Kai and special friend Wendy Thompson. Jason is preceded in death by his father Clyde Elliott, grandparents Clyde C. and April Elliott, and grandfather Randy Sanvik.
Due to the COVID conditions and social distancing, Memorial Services will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
