Jane was born on September 23, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Reinholdt Lange and Elsie Nay. She married her husband Thomas Jay Clements on August 26, 1965. She graduated from Michigan State University in 1967 with a degree in education and worked as a teacher until she had children of her own. In 1976, she and her family moved to The Woodlands, Texas where she stayed home to raise her family and later worked for Continental Airlines. Upon retirement, Jane volunteered countless hours and received intensive horticultural training to achieve the title of Master Gardener within the Montgomery County Master Gardeners Association.
Jane was an incredibly beautiful person, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to so many. She most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and traveling. She will always be remembered as kind, fun-loving, witty, and loyal.
Jane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tom Clements; brother, Ken Lange; children, Thomas Clements, Kimberly Boyd, and Brian Clements; son-in-law, Bradley Boyd; daughters-in-law, Karen Clements and Keri Clements; nine grandchildren, Preston Shadle, Thomas Clements V, William Clements, Emily Clements, Ashley Boyd, Jackson Boyd, Katelyn Clements, Ella Clements, and Adelyn Clements; and great-grandchild, Beau Shadle. Jane is preceded in death by her mother and father.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Flowers may be sent to Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
