Ingeborg is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Gail Lummus; her granddaughter, Valerie Ann Gonzalez; ex-grandson-in-law, Michael David Gonzalez; her great-granddaughters, Kassidy Faith Gonzalez and Joss Mikelyn Gonzalez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ingeborg was born in Mannheim, Germany on August 19, 1937 to Peter Schreck and Maria Barbara Katharina Diehm.
Inge moved to France in 1959 when she turned 21 years old where she met Gale Norman Lummus. They married on January 20, 1962 and they moved to the United States. She obtained her U.S. citizenship in 1996.
She began her retail career in Weingartens. In 1983, she started working at Sam’s Club where she remained for over 25 years until she retired in 2009.
Ingeborg enjoyed bowling trips to Coushatta, Louisiana and looked forward to family gatherings. She was a devoted mother, “Nanny”, friend, employee and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home Chapel, 18000 Interstate 45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm and an interment at the Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
