He was born in Phoenix, AZ on May 23, 1954, to Harold and Shirley Warner.
Glenn graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque, NM, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from New Mexico Tech in 1977.
He was married to Mona C. Guthrie on August 5, 1995.
Glenn had a long career as a drilling engineer in the oil industry after joining Gulf Oil shortly after graduation. He retired from Chevron Oil after more than 40 years of service after they merged with Gulf Oil in 1985.
He was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Montgomery County Master Gardener Association with a passion for the Lord, his family, cars, cooking and gardening.
He is survived by this wife Mona and their children, Catherine, James and Valerie; his brothers Terry Warner and wife Neatice of Carrollton, TX, and David Warner and wife Carol of Prospect, KY. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Warner Patterson.
A memorial service for Glenn will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
