It’s with very heavy heart that George "Dick" Richard Simpson, age 52, of The Woodlands, Texas passed away after a long battle with cancer on Friday August 2, 2019. "Dick" was born February 2, 1967 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Dick graduated from Salsbury Comp High School. He was married to Kathy Simpson on June 26, 1993.
He had a career in oil & gas for Apollo Machine and Turbo Drill Industries, and had a passion for golf, reading his bible, was a true entrepreneur and loved the outdoors.
Dick was proceeded in death by his parents, Dan and Annette Simpson, along with his brother, Ken Simpson.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Simpson; daughter, Danielle Simpson; son, Isaac Simpson; siblings, Jim Breaux, Lisa Cecchetti, Beth Matthews, Craig Simpson, Nancy Ouwerkerk along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for "Dick" will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A reception will occur Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384.
