Frances Louise Miller

Frances Louise (Cameron) Miller, age 98, of Magnolia and Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2020. Frances was born June 17, 1922 to Harry Sellers Cameron and Isabel Charlotte (Trahan) Cameron in Houston, Texas. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Houston and attended Our Lady of the Lake College in San Antonio, Texas.

Frances married the love of her life, Albert H. Miller on January 2, 1943. She served as a Trustee of the Harry S. and Isabel C. Cameron Foundation, along with her brothers, sisters, nieces and grand nieces, for over 50 years. During her life, Frances was a supporter of education and it was evident with her gifts made to St. Thomas High School, St. Agnes Academy, Incarnate Word Academy, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School, the University of St. Thomas, Memorial Hall and Houston Achievement Place. Frances and Albert enjoyed traveling the world, especially cruises, with family and friends. The Miller ranch in Magnolia was a source of many happy memories for family and friends where it was “always Christmas” because she kept the tree up year round and the spirit of love, generosity and happiness alive. Frances and Albert were past members of St. Michael Catholic Church and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jersusalem.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harold, Voorse, and Victor Cameron, sisters Charlotte Cameron and Estelle Maloney, and her husband of 65 years Albert Miller.

Frances is survived by her sons, Robert Miller and wife Jean, Thomas Miller, daughter Marilyn Miller; grandchildren Kerby and Derek Spaeth, Crystal Ramirez and husband John, Marz and Helios (Spike) Miller; great-grandchildren Haley Spaeth, Ellie and Levi Ramirez, along with many other relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Spaeth, John Ramirez, Jim Maloney, Kevin Maloney, Richard Lee, and David Zahn. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Miller, Thomas Miller, and Kerby Spaeth.

A funeral Mass for Frances will be held Thursday, November 12, 2020, 10:00 a.m., at St. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 26777 Glen Loch Dr., Spring, TX 77381.

A burial will occur at Forest Park - The Woodlands Cemetery, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, Texas 77384.
