Frances N. Gurney

She retired from North Harris County College. Frances had a passion for painting and loved to play BINGO with friends and family. She loved to be outdoors, but was happiest when surrounded by her family.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Cleophas Gurney; by her parents John and Mary Rut; sons Raymond and Jerry; daughter Mary; and grandson Christopher. She is survived by her loving children, Cleo and wife Becky, Karen Pulpan and husband Raymond, Leon and wife Charlotte, Robert, Steve and wife Patty, Susan Christianson, Larry and wife Landis; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 7 at 10AM in St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 26777 Glen Loch Drive, Spring, TX 77381. Private graveside to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Houston.
